Comments

display of new books

I know this is probably a futile comment, but here it is nonetheless. I miss your bookstore since I left New York in '99. For a decade I spent an hour or two per weekend just browsing your selection and discovering authors that I feel were misrepresented in reviews. I live in LA and I practically gave up reading because I cant lose myself in browsing books anywhere with a good selection. On occasion I log to your site and try to buy a book, but....

Your website pales in comparison to your store, here you display a measly dozen books, and tons of white browser space.
If you could only design your webspace such that you fill the browser with books- At the size of you display them, in my screen you could fit over 30 per page.
I would love you to order the books in this page like you order them in shelves - in the exact order that you display them in your store. Also like a store, you should have the broswer be horizontal... then your skill at finding and displaying books which I so much enjoyed, could come through the web, and I may buy books again. If you invest in this maybe you will attract others as well.
